A number of years before I moved here there was a sumer when water was in such short supply that the town prohibited any lawn watering or car washing. We might be due for another one of those years. The one good thing about such an event would be that everybody else's yard would look like mine has looked for the last couple of years. I could then claim to have been ahead of my time.
