Fast Road to Sloth

You'd think I'd be getting all webloggy and posting link after link, what with being able to see so much website-type stuff via my new fast Internets connection, but it isn't working out that way. I'm like this guy on whom (according to Boswell) Dr. Johnson commented:

On my observing to him that a certain gentleman had remained silent the whole evening, in the midst of a very brilliant and learned society, "Sir, (said he,) the conversation overflowed, and drowned him."

Teh Internets have overflowed and drowned me!

One thing in which I'm drowning: Ephemeral films from the Internet Archive.


I think I might not be getting enough exercise now. The fast Internets might be shortening my life!
