September is starting with an almost-full moon. It's too bad there aren't any clouds for it to light up. The pines look nice, though.

Portia is sitting on the windowsill after spending several minutes threatening my keyboard with her paws. Why do kitties love to walk on keyboards?

It was hotter than I expected it to be today. The house is still very uncomfortable, even with midnight approaching and all the windows open. I want a nap.
