Stupid

Well, the sky doesn't want me to see any meteors tonight. It has turned mostly cloudy. Even if the shower turns out to be significant, it won't show through all that vapor. Last night was clear, of course. Tomorrow night is predicted to be clear, of course. Camelopardalid might as well be pseudo-Latin for ill-timed. Of course it might clear up a bit before the peak hours of 11:00 to 1:00, but I'm not expecting that to happen. For one thing, it's unusually humid, and that usually means the clouds will be hanging about for quite some time. Maybe I'll just rub my eyes with my knuckles and pretend the lights I see are meteors.
