Despite Thursday having been a cooler day it was still hot enough to keep me miserable and to make me very sleepy very often. Dinner waited until after midnight to be cooked and eaten, and I still didn't finish it. I think I need to adjust my meal sizes downwards for the hot weather. It's just impossible to work up an appetite, especially for heated stuff. I'm thinking about buying a lot more fruit and less other stuff nest time I get groceries.
My legs are getting more resistant to being used. The dislike being stood on, and as that is their primary function I must account them increasingly less useful. They seem hell bent on dying before the rest of me. I can't blame them. If I had to carry all this weight alone I'd want to die first too. It's going to b damn inconvenient without them, though. Thursday evening while I was cooking and unable to stop without ruining the food, my calves began aching so badly I was sure they were about to give out. They didn't, this time, but it was another good reason to consider a change of diet.
While it has grown somewhat coolish this morning, the apartment is still uncomfortable, and I must soon go to sleep, which means I must close the windows and turn off the fan lest I fall asleep and they blow masses of hotter air into the place as the day heats up. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with the mere 75 degrees thus far achieved. It's down to 63 outside, an another hour of fan and window might have gotten it down to 73 in here, but I'll be unable to keep my eyes open. I already hear birds chirping outside. They're probably happy it's so cool out there. well, they'll chirp a different tune when it gets up to 92 this afternoon. Poor birbs.
