Belated Thursday Post

There was a rare fog earlier this last evening, followed by a few minutes of even rarer mist. About eleven o'clock I went out to see if Portia had returned from her explorations, and I frightened a deer who had been nibbling shrubs in my front yard. It was too dark to see the deer, but I heard its hooves as it ran up the street.


Oh, I guess I shouldn't start an entry when I'm sleepy, then go sit on the comfy couch for a minute. I fell asleep and never got around to finishing it or posting it. That's what I get for drinking decaf.
