Befuddled
I'm just waiting around for the rain to start falling again. It's expected to get pretty fierce for the next two days, and it will probably begin before morning. I had an appointment with the chiropractor scheduled for tomorrow, but had to cancel because I won't be able to get transportation. I'll go next week, when the sky will probably be clear. It might even get comparatively balmy for a few days, rising all the way into the low sixties. That should give the un-raked leaves a chance to dry out so I can gather them into the wheelie bins without getting my sorry arse soaked.
While the day was merely overcast, my brain was fogged, and I spent most of the afternoon in front of the television. Now I can't even remember what I watched. Too much starch in my diet of late, I suspect. That always makes me dopey. I'm dopey now. I'm going to go watch some more television. Maybe I'll remember what I see, but more likely I'll fall asleep and wake up to some early morning infomercial. If I do wake up to an infomercial, I hope it isn't one by that dork Kevin Trudeau. His crazy eyes are not the first thing you want to see when you wake up.
