Reset Thirty-Nine, Day Ten

Somehow I got through Monday without a nap, despite having gotten up too early after getting too little sleep. I also ate Sunday dinner for lunch, and then nibbled loads of junk snacks, so if I chunder tonight I can blame Baskin-Robbins, Nabisco, and Frito-Lay. Oh, and whoever makes Kit Kat bars. It was because I couldn't think of anything else to do. The happiest part of the day was when I saw one of my lizards in the backyard. There was no appearance by the mockingbird, though. Also, there was no pie for pi day. I was caught unawares. I won't be doing any stabbing for the Ides of March, either. Holidays just don't mean much to me anymore. Though I do have some Guinness for Saint Patrick's Day.

It was mostly sunny all afternoon, but after nightfall the clouds returned and not long after midnight a few raindrops began falling. It is now raining pretty steadily, and the wind has risen, so it could be a blustery night. The forecast says Chico could get between half an inch and a full inch of rain. They'll get more up in the mountains, but it's a fairly warm rain so we're unlikely to get any addition to the snowpack. But at least there's actual rain. This will be the most we've gotten from one storm since December. I hope the sound of it can help me sleep.

That's all I've got for now. Not feeling great. Shouldn't have eaten that Kit Kat, I guess.
