Reset Forty-Nine, Day Two
Totally phased out and nodding this morning, probably as a result of that shot of cognac in my chocolate milk. Wednesday I didn't sleep very well, either that morning or during my evening nap, which ended about ten o'clock. I tried having dinner for lunch, which did work out well enough, though it left me craving nocturnal snacks throughout the last few hours. I've had creaky neck, a jaw the feels somewhat displaced, and of course the stopped up ear, which has taken to itching way more than aching.
Also, pollen is arousing sneezes and something is making my legs itch again. In short, discomfort to match the sultry weather. Lethargy is the unsurprising result, which I hope a good morning sleep will dissipate, though I won't hold my breath. Or maybe I will, as I have a suspicion that I have apnea. There's nobody around to tell me if I snore or not. There's probably an app for it, though. Maybe I'll look into it. When I remember. Someday.
Oh, this is not unexpected, but still sad: Tina Turner, 1939-2003. RIP, Queen.
