Reset Forty-Nine, Day Twenty-Six
Sunday was milder than recent days, but still too hot. I had multiple sleeps again, following one of which I remembered to go out an check the mailbox, and there found a magazine scrunched up since it was delivered on Saturday. At least there hadn't been any rain, which would have caused irreparable damage, and the creases it got will eventually flatten back out a bit.
An evening nap ended about one o'clock this morning, and since I hadn't had any dinner pre-nap and didn't feel like fixing one post-nap, I ended up snacking for a couple of hours. In fact I'm still snacking. Right now I'm having popcorn. I'm feeling a bit too hyper to go to sleep, but I should probably try to wind down. It's supposed to be a coolish day today, with a high of only 73, which means I could sleep without and drafts from the air conditioner, or its noise. This is the only opportunity for that, as we'll be back into the eighties tomorrow, and then the nineties, and by the start of July there will be triple digits. We might not see another day as cool as today until September.
Enough blathering. I need to turn my brain off. Happy Juneteenth.
