Reset Forty-Nine, Day One Hundred Thirty-Seven

The whole sleeping a lot thing continues, and Monday I logged a lot of afternoon log-sawing hours. Later I made a large and somewhat soporific meal and then... well, I probably slept some more, but damned if I can remember for sure. What else I might have done if I /didn't/ sleep more is equally a mystery. So much mystery!

But one thing I do recall is that Monday was mostly overcast. It was gray and cloudy when I went to sleep and still gray and cloudy when I woke up late that afternoon, and only a little bit of sun appeared before nightfall. It still managed to get fairly warm, though, and the apartment has held onto the heat quite well, so I might not need to use the furnace later tonight when the temperature will drop down to 52 after a high of only 70. Yeah, it's overcast again, but only a slight chance of a rain shower or two. The next serious chance of rain is next Monday and Tuesday.

October is usually a game of seeing if I can get through the month without using the furnace. There are a couple of rough spots coming up later, but for now I think I'm okay. October is also the month the utility company hands out the California Climate Credit, which sometimes is enough to eliminate my bill entirely. I don't know if it will do that this month, but it would be nice if it did. It would save me a postage stamp.

If there are typos in this entry they'll just have to stay. I'm too tired to fix them. That's probably due at least in part to the fact that in lieu of a bedtime snack I downed a bottle of Guinness. I actually feel pretty good about that. And sleepy. Good day. I said good day, sir!
