Reset Forty-Nine, Day Three Hundred Four

Oh and look at the time. I don't think it's Sunday anymore, Toto. And that's probably a good thing. I didn't feel very good Sunday, although I did finally fix dinner before midnight. Also I put some ground coffee into a container to cold brew, and recently had some, and it's not quite strong enough, alas. However, it does appear to have been strong enough to aggravate my acid reflux, which is acting up enough to make the prospect of getting more sleep soon unlikely. I'll have to stay awake through the unpleasantly bright and sunny day we are in for.

There could be more rain starting Wednesday, a cheering prospect. The snowpack is very slightly above normal for the date, and another cool storm could boost it above normal for April 1, the date historically considered the peak of the snow season. After that it's usually all downhill— literally for the snow, as it melts and the water runs down into the reservoirs. But I digress. I digress from my unhappiness, which is what I want to concentrate on at the moment. My damned neck has been hurting like hell, and I can't find a comfortable position. Irritating crap like that is what makes me want to just turn my senses off and obliviate.

Of course I can't do that, so I use the alternative distraction of music. I came across this video of guitarist Marcin PatrzaƂek playing Bill Withers' classic "Ain't No Sunshine" WITH KITTENS! Well that makes it twice as calming. Everything is better WITH KITTENS!*

*Except eating meals, of course, as then the kittens either get into your food with their little butt-licking tongues, or they stare at you the entire time you are eating, making you feel guilty. Do not invite kittens for dinner. You will regret it.
