51/97: Necking
Wednesday we got morning almost fog. Sunrise came and went without any clue other than the gradual growth of a diffused light, which remained dim until afternoon. It wasn't like the fogs of old, when the opposite side of a street would vanish, but just a relentless grayness that brought an oddly cozy feel. It burned off a couple of hours after noon, but it's back this morning. If I still had the energy for walks I'd take one. As it is, I just watch through my window while drinking a cup of hot Mullein leaf tea.
This was another morning when I woke up about three o'clock and fixed dinner, though I didn't finish eating it this time, having spoiled my appetite with Cheetos. My mom did warn me. But cheesy poofs! So irresistible! And now I have hiccups, which are probably bad diet related. I also have a very sore spot on my neck where it meets my left shoulder. Most likely I slept on it wrong. Or I've finally come down with neck cancer. I just hope it doesn't interfere with the nap I want to go take. But I have to be up early enough in the afternoon to arrange for my niece or nephew to pick up groceries for me tomorrow. The store damn well better have my donuts. I haven't had one for two weeks now. That's just too long.
