51/98: Donuts, Yay

I just spent the morning ordering groceries online, and now must wait to see how badly Safeway screws up my order. Nothing about shopping is ever fun for me, except having the job finished and the stuff put away. And maybe eating it, but not always, since the main reason I eat is because there is a point at which being hungry becomes more unpleasant than mastication. There are a few exceptions, though not many, and donuts are one of them, and I did order donuts today. I ordered the same ones I ordered last time but didn't get, and will be quite distraught if I don't get them again. But if I get all the donuts I ordered, then the day will be redeemed, and I won't regret having gotten out of a warm, cozy bed to putz around on a cranky website.

As for Thursday, it was foggish again all day, but I saw little of it because I slept through most of it. Just looking at the fog is not as enjoyable as being out in it, and since I don't go out anymore, looking is all I get to do, and at some point it's just more fun to go to sleep. It's still foggish this afternoon, but a bit brighter, I doubt that the sun will emerge though, as we are due for rain tomorrow, so the fog will probably just merge into a gathering cloudiness. There could be four days in a row with rain, and more later next week. Tomorrow is the solstice, so the official first day of winter. There should be some snow in the mountains, which is good since the north is currently at about 60% of normal for the season (the south is doing better at about 86%.) But snow season has barely begun, so catching up is still very likely.

Aaaand forgot to post while diddling with Safeway texts. Three items substituted, one just unavailable, but yay, none were donuts. I get my donuts!
