rejectomorph | 52/06: Not Yet Full of Beans

So it was shopping day, and about four hours vanished down the rabbit hole of Safeway's web site. It was the usual mix of annoyance, frustration, disappointment, and exhaustion. Several items I Hoped to get were out of stock, and I totally forgot a couple of others. I was going to put some beans on to soak Thursday night, but forgot, so the soaking only began Friday afternoon, and I might not get around to actually cooking them tonight. Too bad, since I've got fresh Safeway French bread, and I love fresh buttered bread with beans. But I've been awake too long, and really need to get some sleep. I suppose I'll find myself awake at four o'clock in the morning and start cooking the beans then. I can eat them for breakfast and pretend I'm British.
