Tasks Accomplished
Gums all poked and teeth all polished. No new cavities. I don't have to go back until Pearl Harbor Day.
Glasses all screwed back together and new nose pads added. No more eyestrain- well, no more than before. I still need to get a new prescription.
Most of Monday has been survived, as has most of July. It was the hottest day of the year so far. I forgot to make iced tea. It's too late in the evening now. An excellent blue dusk has descended and the waxing moon is near the apex of its arc. I am going to irrigate the sourgrass, and listen to the water trickling for the rest of the night. I expect serenity. Beer will be involved.
