One of the greatest weaknesses of the blague-o-sphere, it seems to me, is that it was so effectively criticized by Alexander Pope long before it even existed, in this notorious couplet:
That said, I must admit that I enjoyed Medium Lobster's snark at Michael Kinsley in Fafblog. Maybe it's just because I've always found Michael Kinsley such an irritating little smirker, but I do enjoy seeing him taken down, even in a weblague. I'm sure that Mr. Pope would scold me for this. I'm sure he'd be right to do so. I just don't care.
Meanwhile, in the real world, I'm annoyed by the fact that it's getting dark out and I haven't had my dinner yet. I don't like the time change. The clocks should be left alone, asGod the Railroads intended!
