Finally!

The rain fell all afternoon and all evening, and was quite impressive. It's still drizzling a bit now, and there will probably be more rain later tonight. In fact, the storm could hang around into Tuesday. The frogs and I are delighted. For a while there was an enormous mud puddle in my back yard that aroused in me a fleeting desire to be ten years old again. I didn't indulge it, but it was a near thing. So far the roof hasn't leaked, but it probably will. Receptacles are ready.

Going out to listen and sniff.

if you had indulged your whim, maybe by taking off your shoes and stomping in the mud?, the cats might've been charmed! glad you got that rain. :)
