I had a nice holiday chili relleno casserole (because I can't make real chiles rellenos and had failed to catch either elf or reindeer) and watched the feral cats romp.

It's still pretty cold out.

Maybe I'll enjoy the New Year holiday more.

it was low-key here, too. i baked a mrs. callendar's razzleberry pie, as otherwise i'm too crippled-up in the back to cook, and watched an old episode of Scrubs with ted. not the worst christmas ever, but like you, i'll be hoping for more fun on NY Eve!
