Late and Busy

Alger came by long enough to have dinner and meow at me for a few minutes this evening (well, Tuesday evening now.) His two litter-mates are still absent. When he sniffs my hand he puts his ears back a bit. Maybe he smells Portia on them. Kitty jealousy is a terrible thing.

The most recent rain was too light to get through the ceiling. I have mixed feelings about that. Dry house, good; wimpy rain, boring.

I've been busy tidying the house and arranging things since my dad is supposed to come back from the care facility Thursday. I don't know how he'll do here, as he now needs a lot of hands-on care, but he'll be glad to be home. He didn't really like being in that place. It will be good having him back, but it will probably be very time-consuming.

ah, alger is very attached to you. he thinks you're his human. good thing portia's not outside where he could try to chase her off!

i hope your dad will be more comfortable at home. best to you as you cope with the increased demand on your time and energies.

Thanks. I'll probably get used to the extra work soon enough. The only problem will be when mom and dad both want my attention at the same time. In-home triage!
