Daze of Doze

If the forecast is accurate, this should be the last night that doesn't get cool enough to be pleasant for more than a week. Right now it's still 80 degrees outside, after a high of 102. Tonight I'm indulging myself with air conditioning, as I'm unlikely to need it again for some time. Saturday it might even rain, and we should soon be having nocturnal lows in the fifties. The cooler weather is going to arrive just in time for the full moon.

It's likely I'll go to sleep soon as I didn't get much last night and had only a few cat naps this afternoon. I should probably go turn on the television now so I can fall asleep in front of it and waste some more electricity. After all, I can't waste it all on air conditioning.

Hope you got the lower temps today! We did, but it's slightly muggy if cooler. Oh, the moon -- I happened to look out the door last night and saw it nearly full. Must remember to keep checking on it!

Sadly, no. The high was only down by about two degrees, and the low tonight is apt to be higher than predicted, too. The weather service has not been doing very accurate predictions this summer.
