Missing In Inaction

So the computer went haywire last Sunday and would not boot. I got a message suggesting a boot disk be used so the missing boot file could be repaired or replaced. No such luck. There is no boot disk. After various things failed, I tried to use the laptop, but something has gone wrong with it as well, and it was unable to find the router. Tonight I'musing a borrowed Dell laptop with the most appalling keyboard. I won't use it long.

But I have managed to get my grocery shopping list together, and will go tomorrow rather than New Year's Day, and 5 have actually caught up with LJ. Other stuff can wait. God, I do hate this keyboard.

I don't suppose anybody noticed that I was gone.

Greetings. Some come here rarely now, but most come never. LiveJournal is part of the rust belt of the Internets. I suppose it might regenerate some day, like Pittsburgh, but more likely it will just keep emptying out, like St. Louis. Or my brain.
