More Ice!

Sluggo is quite displeased with the heat. His little heat-stroke prone AMD brain is sputtering and popping and crashing with alarming frequency. He leaps into the blue screen to cool off. I wish I could get him some liquid nitrogen.

I, the eternal skeptic, am now convinced of the reality of spontaneous human combustion. It will happen to me any time now. Stick a wick in me, I'll burn for days. Hell is about to sue California for patent infringement. Don't mind me, my brain has melted. I wish I could get myself some liquid nitrogen.

is it really that hot? here in mumbai its raining all day and night from last 10 days and its fun. i go to shop and by the time i step out of the shop with the bags to my car (which fortunately my driver promptly brings around to the shop the moment he sees me getting out) my goodies are somewhat sprinkled with water. still i love the monsoon. i love my city during monsoon.

This has been a very hot summer here. Several days have broken records for high temperatures. I suppose that one reason it bothers me as much as it does is because I spent so much of my life in a place much closer to the ocean, with its cooling breezes. I've just never gotten used to living this far inland.

I'd love to see some rain right now, but California gets almost no rain in summer. We have had only one thunderstorm so far this year. Some years, we don't get any summer storms at all.
