More of the Same, with Rainy Day Diversions

A day like yesterday, but there was clearing and sunlight for about fifteen minutes in mid afternoon, and then a bit more clearing just after sunset. Then a strip of cloud turned bright pink, and although the sky directly above appeared to be free of clouds, I felt cold, sharp little drops of rain drifting from the dark, wind-roiled shapes to the north. April ending, and the lilacs fading, and they've barely seen the sun.

the one question that, even as i did the quiz, stood as on that front was the one about whether some people deserve to die. i said yes, thinking of despots and tyrants and serial killers. the quiz may've assumed i meant i was going to pull a travis bickle. not! [g]

I actually answered false to that question. (My Scottish Calvinistic streak, I'm sure --the idea that, all men being sinners, none is in a position to pass such a judgment on any other.) But I recall a question in the earlier section which asked something such as "have you ever wanted to (hit? beat?) someone," and I said yes to that one, so maybe that's what got me.
