So, I've finally set up an e-mail address especially for LJ, and I've settled for Outrage Outlook Express as my e-mail client (for the time being.) Thus, I am anxiously awaiting my first LJ notification e-mail to the new address. Who gets to send it?

Update: I seem to have spoken too soon. Outrage Express is unable to log on to the Chiconet server using the new identity. Rats! I'll have to fetch the stuff the old way until I can get it working.

Since I've been unable to get Mozilla's browser or e-mail client to work the way I want them to, I'm stuck with Internet Explorer, and Outlook Express gets along well with Internet Explorer. The Juno browser I used to use was essentially nothing more than a skin for Internet Exploreser, and I suspect that Juno mail was nothing more than a skin for Outlook Express, so I've probably been using both of them all along, anyway.

EVentually, I'm going to look into the combination of Opera's browser and Eudora e-mail, but I'm not ready to go through another round of program reconfiguring yet. I hate computers.
