Unintentional Body Modification

My cat tried to pierce my nipple tonight. When I lie on the floor watching television, she likes to climb onto my chest and do the kneading thing with her paws. Usually, she is good about keeping her claws retracted, but tonight she suddenly dug in (no pun intended) with considerable force. Actually drew blood. I think it was unintentional, but I suppose I should at least consider the possibility that she would like me to adopt a somewhat punkier look. I wish that she had found a gentler way of letting me know, though. Damn, that smarts!

Hmmm... I wonder if I should get a ring, or one of those little bars. Decisions, decisions.

for me, bars are less scary than rings. a ring could get caught on something and rip off your nipple.

It would probably be unwise of me to install any kind of nipple accoutrement, as the cat would undoubtedly assume that it was intended as a toy for her pleasure.

But this reminds me of a dream I had several years ago, when I saw a few episodes of MTV's London Real World. I dreamed that the Australian model ripped the English guy's nipple ring out with her teeth and suckled his blood. I have no idea where so vampirish a dream came from.

i can't believe i am volunteering this, but my cat bit my nipple once pretty hard. i wonder if he was trying to tell me to pierce. shit, maybe it is some sort of fucked up cat plot.

I think that not everone has erotic fantasies about cats. Or even about bites. (Although, personally, I have sometimes wondered what it would be like if there were a human with a tongue textured like a cat's.)

I've never known a cat who didn't bite once in a while, though most of them never bite very hard. Just an odd quirk of the species, I guess, but they seem unable to resist putting their teeth around things. They see the whole world the way a dog sees your best shoes.
