Dull

There probably won't be many more of these cold nights this spring. By early May, it's likely to warm up quite a bit. The warmth certainly won't pull me out of this lethargy. These days, I'm schadenfreude bait.

This afternoon, I'm going to make every effort to get out and get my hair cut. It is at that stage where it curls around and tickles my ears, and it's driving me batty. There is a good chance of sunlight today, so I might be able to wake up early enough to get a few things done. The recent gray days caused me to oversleep -- and I no longer have my alarm cat. Perhaps the bright light falling on my western window will serve to get me out of bed at a decent hour.

Today is the day that a bunch of new LJ code goes live. I know that some code to change the way the friends and friend-of lists is displayed has been written, so that might be among the new features that will be here when I log on this evening. It will be nice to have, but it probably won't cheer me up.

Now, I want to get to sleep before the birds begin singing.

I miss my cat.

I can tell you miss your cat. It is so hard to adjust to life after one of them leaves us. Especially when the one that left is so special and none of the others can somewhat take their place. Maybe you need to go out to P.A.L.S. and adopt yourself an older cat that needs you as much as you need it. A nice lap one. :) It helps.

Peace and good thoughts to you... I can only imagine the emotions your delaing with regarding your loss. I don't know that I'd want to stay in bed without Newt next to me.

I hope some good sunlight comes to you soon, and that the warmth is as enjoyable as the cool.
