The pun, the pun!

Clicking about at random last night, I came across the journal of hachibambatar, whose interest lists included the delightful "haiku d'etat." It was linked, so I clicked and found three more people listing it as an interest: animalchin, baybaylan, and tacosauce. Well, I ask you, How could I resist so excellent a pun? I added myself to the list. Perhaps someday there will be a haiku d'etat community. Perhaps someday there will be a haiku d'etat. I can hardly wait.

you got me curious so i did a google search on haiku d'etat. they appear to be a band of rappers or something...i didn't look into it too indepth, but here is a highlight of some of their lyrics...a sampling from the song "Still Rappin'" from the album Haiku d'etat:

No wonder I didn't recognize the name. Obscure rap groups are way outside my musical experience. I think I'll keep them on my interests list though, just 'cause I like the name.
