Skip 75? No, seriously? This is Thursday, not Wednesday!

New neighbors have gone onto the bad neighbors list, along with Thuggish Neighbor and Sinister Neighbor. They get to be Rude Neighbors. They woke me up early with loud, thumpy noise from one of those car audio systems that vibrates windows from a block away. It was ten feet from my window. I'm surprised it didn't shatter. They obviously have too much money, if they can afford one of those things. They will need that money a few years from now, when they have to buy hearing aids before they turn 40.

Too little sleep makes me cranky. I'll shut up before I say something that shocks the agents assigned to spy on me. They, at least, are quiet and unobtrusive.

I've always wanted to retaliate by installing a high-pitched treble soundsystem... I'm talking glass shattering, brassy lightning that blows the eardrums out of local Dogs and knocks birds from the sky...

I've long fantasized about a small but powerful neutron bomb, which I could toss into their cars to fry their circuits.

Ah, my neighbors have friends who come and prop open the trunk of the car with a piece of wood they carry especially for that purpose, so they can have the EXTRA speaker built in their play to the greatest advantage.
I would have liked something powerful to throw into that trunk! Or at least something smelly.
Fortunately it's winter, we only have the pounding bass, the screeching kids, the running feet shaking the apartment, and the karaoke rap. (who knew?)
