Evacuation
Jul. 8th, 2008 11:50 amWell, one of the small fires east of the river flared up when the wind turned around to blow from the south early this morning, and now there's another precautionary evacuation warning an immediate evacuation order. Boo! The air is now worse than it has ever been through this whole event. Entire leaves, partly burned, are falling all over the neighborhood, along with bits of ash. Spending two or three minutes outside feels like breathing L.A. smog for a month.
I'm so so punchy from lack of sleep and from inhaling carbon monoxide that I probably won't know what I'm doing.
Oh, look: Arnold was in town yesterday, with media monkeys in tow.
