Capricious
Sep. 9th, 2008 05:11 pmAnother mild day has finally arrived, and my window is freshly cleaned so I have a view of it unfiltered by cobwebs and dust. Though a few clouds have formed, it's still not quite autumnal, but I'm content with late summery. The first raking probably won't have to be done for a few days yet, unless we get a strong wind to bring down more of the drying leaves. It's a perfect time to laze about, watching the spider silk drift.
The Internets brought a fresh delight as well. It is a Flickr photo set of goats grazing on Bunker Hill in downtown Los Angeles. This is my particular favorite, as I detest the apartment building in the background and can fantasize the goats undermining it and making it collapse. This picture of a watched goat watching the photographer is amusing. I suspect the people in the background of contemplating the removal of a goat to their dining table. Goat, I've been told by those who've eaten it, is pretty tasty.
Lots of violence in that paragraph.
Back to enjoying the balmy evening.
