Absence

It's after eleven o'clock and Portia (garage cat) still hasn't made an appearance. She didn't come down from the rafters all night last night, and by the time I checked on her this morning the garage door had already been opened and there was no sign of her. She might be hiding out somewhere, recovering from her injuries, or perhaps just afraid to return. I'll have to keep watching for her. Gray cat was hanging around this afternoon, looking like nothing ever happened. I don't know if he was the culprit or not. So far I haven't run him off, but I'm thinking about it.

Really hot tomorrow. Not liking late summer.

we have into the 90s today and maybe 100 tomorrow. i do not like summer, no indeed.
