It's a Racket!

I don't know why the cicadas are driving me crazier than usual this year, but they are. Plus my ears are exhausted. I need a soundproofed room so I can get away from the buzzing for a few minutes.

No, I can't think with this racket. A freak snowfall would be so welcome right now. Freeze the noisy little buggers.

having tinnitus is a bit like hearing cicadas all the time. it is wearying! no wonder you're wishing for soundproofing or a snowfall. when does weather usually turn in your part of the world? later than here, i'm sure.

The weather here is unpredictable. There've been years when fall was cloudy, cold, and rainy, and others when dry and balmy days continued through November. But the best years are those that have some variety.
