rejectomorphFor about an hour last night I thought a heavy fog might come in. The nearby trees grew vague, and the air smelled of damp. Later it cleared, and before dawn I saw two more meteors streak across Orion, each brighter than any I'd seen the previous night.
When the acorns fall on the pavement they sometimes sound like deer hooves. When they fall on metal rooftops they sometimes sound like distant rifle fire. When the two happen in sequence it makes me think of deer running from hunters.
The clouds are gone and the whole weekend will be warm. Yay for saving gas from the hungry furnace.
