rejectomorphWinter has begun and the evening light lasts longer. There was actual sunlight visible this afternoon. I stood in it for a few minutes, but the air was very cold. It will get even colder tonight, but the rain is surely over and we'll probably get to see the moon.
I was entirely without Internets for more than forty hours! I think it had something to do with the telephone company's wires getting wet in the rain. But for the first time ever I was able to get reconnected only with the ISP's self-support tool, and I reset the modem myself (modems get Alzheimer's when the wires get wet, and then they need to be reset) so I didn't have to call Kevin or Brandon or Mike in India. That means I get to feel very clever. Not clever enough to speak Hindi of be in tech support, perhaps, but clever anyway.
Now I have catching up to do.
