Now that the cold front has passed through, it is very chilly. I doubt that the blossoms on the peach tree will survive. There will be a lot of frozen blossoms in the mountains tonight, and maybe even more in the valley, since the cold tends to settle there. I'm very glad that the cherry tree didn't blossom yet. The dogwood trees are safe, too. But the lilac bushes were starting to bloom, and I suspect that they will also be ruined. At least we got more snowpack up the ridge, which will help keep the lakes from getting too low this summer. When the lakes are too low, they put a lot of chlorine in the water, and it smells bad. Weather. Can't live with it, can't live without it.
