rejectomorphI finally got around to getting a scanner. Now I have to figure out where to set it up and how to use it. There's no room in this room, so it will have to be somewhere else, and it will have to be paired with the laptop. I'm going to need another power strip, too. The only one in the house with any spare receptacles is the one the television is plugged into, and there's no place to set up the scanner in that room either. I wish I'd remembered to buy a power strip for it. Now I probably won't be able to get one until Sunday, and I'm anxious to find out if the scanner is going to work. If it does, I'll have some pictures to post soon.
The moon was glaring at me until a few minutes ago, and I glared back at it. It's washing out the sky, preventing me from seeing the meteor shower which will peak this weekend. Where is the eclipse when you need it?

Date: 2011-08-13 02:36 pm (UTC)i went out around 3 a.m. a couple of nights ago and saw nothing but ambient light and that big moon. somehow i never manage to see meteor showers.
