It's sort of sorted. There is probably enough production capacity available, as long as there is enough fuel to burn. The problem is that the primary fuel is imported natural gas. (Imported mostly from Texas through pipelines controlled by Texas based companies.) So the price could go very high, if a sellers market develops for gas. Our local problem is mostly just the crappy service provided by northern California's main utility company, PG&E.
