The Last Mild Day

A few cicadas survived the recent cold spell and are buzzing again tonight. Tomorrow night will probably finish them off, and if not, then Thursday night will. I spent what was most likely the last balmy day of autumn looking at the fallen leaves and not raking them. It will be cooler for raking tomorrow, and on Thursday any that haven't been raked and stuck into the bin will get wet, so I'd better get it done. In the meantime, I think there was something on television tonight that I was going to watch, but I can't remember what it was.

Oh, right.

Actually, I'm sure it could wait until tomorrow, when there should be an actual outcome to be known. I'm sure tonight would be better spent watching old movies.
