Well, the damned elf and his reindeer escaped again. I was so tired from setting up the traps that I fell asleep, and then they didn't get triggered. Once again I didn't even get a glimpse of the elf and his team. It's going to be a can of beans for Christmas dinner again, I'm sorry to say. Well, I didn't feel like preparing a whole reindeer dinner anyway. The elf stuffing alone would have been a major task, not to mention the cleaning of all the meat. Then there would have been the bother of dismantling and hiding the sleigh, along with all the harness and the red suit and all that.

I was really looking forward to owning that bottomless bag of gifts, though. I had an eBay site all set up and everything. Rats! All my plans in ruins again. I'm beginning to understand how Wile E. Coyote must feel. That's the last time I'll rely on ACME coffee to keep me awake!

ACME cannot be trusted. Its fool-proof products fail every time. Well, maybe they can be trusted to fail.

Next year, though, you'll figure out a way! Santa better watch his step.

Santa left me a lump of ACME coal this year. That elf really holds onto a grudge!
