I've just set up a web site at Tripod. Until I can get a decent image hosting service, I'll be sticking some pictures there. In an hour or so, I managed to upload four. They are sort of grainy and washed out and look even worse than they do on my image viewer, but what can one expect from a free site run by Lycos? It's actually better than I expected it to be.I'll get around to uploading more pictures soon, I hope. In the meantime, you finally get to take a look at some of the places I've been writing about. (I know everyone has been so anxious to see them. :-P) So, what are you waiting for? It's only two pages long!

Your written descriptions have been so well done that the places your photographs seemed quite familiar. Very much as I imagined them though not nearly as vivid somehow.

I never knew your name was Joe until now. Hi Joe, I'm Lisa. My favorite was the last photo on the 2nd page. It's awfully green for January in California. Or, at least, more green than I expected california to be. Very pretty.

Nice photos, nice places, but not nearly as lush and magical as what I'd imagined they'd be, after reading your descriptions. I like the way you see and paint your world with words.

I'm with Joe, Joe.
You write these places so much better than reality that, though beautiful, the pictures can not match the beauty of your writing.
I want to see more, though.

That's why I've never walked down it. I like to imagine what could be there.

I really LIKE that!
