Electric complaint
Aug. 2nd, 2001 05:13 amOf all the books I have read, I have never once had the pages suddenly go blank because there was a power surge. When reading a magazine, I have never had to click on a button to avoid having it vanish because I had not turned a page within a prescribed length of time. Of all the words I have written on paper, I have never lost one because of a browser crash.
Computers may be convenient, they may take up less space than a public library, or even a bookcase full essential of reference works. But they have a hell of a long way to go when it comes to reliability and ease of use.
