I would like to say that I have been missing for the last three days because I went on a binge, but the truth is more prosaic. Tuesday evening, Sluggo went blind. The cyclopean window to his evil soul flickered, wavered and went out. It was three days before I could get into town to buy a new monitor. Best Buy had no 15 inch monitors, so, in spite of the limited space into which I must cram such things, I had to go for the 17 inch device. After the rebate, it will set be back about a hundred bucks, which isn't too bad. Now I will try to catch up with whatever has been happening.

What? You didn't know I was gone?

Welcome back! I'm glad to hear it was Sluggo. I always imagine the worst in disappearances. It's a relief to know you're fine.
