Reset Thirty-Nine, Day Seventeen

Monday, as promised, was balmy, and I did indeed collect afternoon warmth that is keeping the apartment cozy and furnace-free, probably all night. The enormous crop of white flowers on the giant bush that eats the back fence is at that stage when many are starting to shed petals even as others have barely begun to bloom. For the next few weeks I'll be getting petals in my hair whenever I sit in the back yard. When I come back indoors a few petals always manage to sneak in with me, and I keep finding them here and there. Spring in the mini-metropolis.

Anyway, no nap Monday and I recently began nodding off, so I should probably go to bed now. Something else... oh, There was a peanut butter sandwich for dinner, on toasted heels of bread. I wish I had more heels, as I'd like another one right now. But there's not even a regular slice of bread left. I must arrange for foods sometime today.
