Frosty

Got very cold very quickly.

But a cat sleeping on my lap with her tongue out.

I wonder why she does that?

If this turns out to be a cold winter, I will bitch endlessly about it.

The cat won't mind the cold. She will sleep through it.

Maybe I will, too.

Arbitrary Post

Not yet accustomed to the cold, my energy is low. I went for a walk this afternoon, anyway. Lots of twittering little birds happy for a sunny day. An odd cloud shaped like a big hook. What would hang from it? Listening to Thelonious Monk. Dazzled by light today, dazed by darkness now. I will listen for the waterfowl migrating. Ducks, geese, cranes, swans. They are all leaving for the warmer places I would like to go to.
