Running around all afternoon yesterday getting a new TV and VCR to put in my mother's room, since she can't get out of there and is gradually going stir crazy. Advice: don't move to a place where the only large store is K-Mart.

I didn't have time to post anything about the sunset last night. Spectacular, with the storm clouds just breaking up, red streaks all across the horizon.

Now, the eastern sky is that deep, rich blue of morning twilight, the crescent moon hanging above the intricate silhouettes of the pines and bare oaks. I seldom see dawn in winter, since I am normally in bed by five o'clock. I may be seeing a lot of it, this year.
