After the rain, a few translucent clouds are drifting north, illuminated by the setting moon, thin though it is. Above, blackness dotted with bright stars. As always, the pines have captured much of the rain, and it continues to drip so that it sounds as though the storm continued, even under the cleared sky. Cold tomorrow, I'm sure. Cold and bright.

I have not yet been clustered. Waiting. Waiting. I like the clustering. The main reason for it is to make the site faster and to deal with some of the problems of scale, but it has another benefit on the side. Formerly, when you hovered a cursor over a link to a post, all you got was the itemid. With journals that have been clustered, you get the user name, as well. For example, look at the javascript produced by this post, which has a nice picture of [livejournal.com profile] evan. Awww, isn't he cute?

Sometimes

Sometimes I get the feeling that my brain has been replaced by a big bag of cotton wool. Not even the sight of mauve Frank arouses my interest. I think perhaps the fact that three days of being so busy that I have been unable to go for a proper walk may have something to do with it. I have been in the house, inhaling dust, and the dust is now clogging my brain. Hmmm...I wonder what would happen if I lit this match next to my ear....
