Blue jays are building a nest in the bushes directly outside my window. Soon, there will be screaming baby birds making a racket all day when I'm trying to sleep. Finches or starlings or robins I wouldn't mind. But blue jays are obnoxious birds. They are the avian equivalent of those guys with the 5000 watt sound systems in their cars. When I had more cats, these birds didn't nest so close to the house. I need more cats.
