Yawn

I forgot to put the fan in my window before going off to do things last night, so the room never cooled off properly. I will pay dearly in tossage and turnage for that as I try to get to sleep.

Very tired. No more this morning.

Quiet

It's been oddly quite around here today. A lot of the neighbors must be off on vacations. It's hard to tell sometimes, though, because so many of the neighbors are old. Perhaps they have succumbed to the weeks of heat, and their remains are lying in their houses, slowly desiccating. But the few younger neighbors don't seem to be around either. All evening, the street has been deserted. Come to think of it, I haven't even heard any dogs bark. Did everybody go away and not tell me? Why? I didn't get any mail today, either- not paper nor e. I have the weirdest feeling that I'm not being watched.
