Enlightened
Dec. 10th, 2005 06:15 amWind filled half the night, and subsided just as the gibbous moon set, leaving profound silence and a dark world roofed with glittering constellations. Few commuters will disturb the serenity of Saturday morning's twilight. The air, despite its chill, feels soft. A mild December morning is silk, compared to a summer morning's warm velvet, but equally inviting. I luxuriate, enfolded in its fine weave.
Here, you may behold ruminations on a variety of crunchy snacks (and associated truths) by

Light now begins to reveal the east, silhouetting the bared branches of the oaks. I will observe its advance. Perhaps the dawn will bring colors as delicious as did last evening's sunset.
